Pastor Wade Walton, Lead Pastor, & Elder
Pastor Wade is our Lead Pastor and has been on the pastoral staff since 2020 . Pastor Wade has his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and Philosophy from Mississippi College and his Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Wade is married to Rachel and they have three children (Camrie, Georgia, and Caleb) along with a bonus baby (Ellie). Pastor Wade has been serving in ministry for over 20 years and loves preaching the Word of God in a way that people can easily apply it to their daily lives.

Jay Peasley, Worship & Youth Leader
I have a great passion for our Lord, Worship and Youth. My family includes my wife Sarah and daughter, Lennon and son Thatcher.
At Grandview Baptist Church, our youth ministry is led by our passionate and dedicated Youth Leader. With a heart full of compassion, creativity, and faith.
Through engaging Bible studies, thought-provoking discussions, and impactful mentoring, our Youth Leader is committed to equipping our youth with a strong foundation in Christ. They understand the challenges and pressures that our young people face in today's world and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where they can grow in their relationship with God.
Our Youth Leader is always finding innovative ways to engage our youth and deepen their love for God and others.
With a deep love for God's Word, our Youth Leader leads our youth in studying the Scriptures and applying Biblical principles to their lives.
Whether participating in dynamic worship, engaging in meaningful conversations, serving the community, or simply having fun, our Youth Leader is committed to creating an environment where our young people can discover, grow, and thrive in their faith.

Kathy Brown, Custodian Engineer/Care Taker
Kathy is married to Mark, son Andrew and daughter Krista. Let's take a moment to thank someone who often works behind the scenes but plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our church community. Kathy is an essential member of our church family, serving diligently to ensure that our worship spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming. Her unwavering commitment to keeping our facilities in top-notch condition is truly remarkable. But Kathy's contributions extend far beyond her regular duties. She is known throughout the church for her caring nature. Joyce Dryer, Administrative Assistant
Joyce is married to her wonderful husband and friend David. Joyce provides general administrative support, assists with maintaining church records. Prepare bulletins and publications for church Worship. Help maintains the church website and e-news letters.
Joyce has a passion for serving and supporting Grandview Baptist Church.
Ky Claeys
Ky has been a member of Grandview since 2023. Ky’s ministry involvement includes the Elder Board, Men’s Ministry, Sunday School teaching, Men’s Breakfast Cook, Security team, and helping with many church outreach events. Outside of church, Ky enjoys spending time with his family, watching football, and reading. Ky & his wife Veronica have 3 children, Reeve, Ivan, and Raelyn.

Doug Howard
Doug has been a member of Grandview since 1996. Doug’s involvement includes the Deacon Board, General Board Chairman and Vice-Chairman, Finance Team, Interim Elder, Board Chairman, two pastor search teams, Men’s Ministry Team, Sunday school teaching, the AWANA Program0, VBS and Small Groups. Doug and his wife Deb have the following married children Michael (Jenny), Cari (Tony), James (Diana), Kelsey (Kerry), and ever growing number of beautiful grandchildren.

Joseph Miller
I am grateful to serve as an Elder at GBC where my faith journey began as a child. I accepted Jesus at age 8 and was baptized at 10. Having grown up in the church, I now share this journey with my family, including my wife Heidi and our three children: Joseph II, James and Maddison. Over the years, I’ve served in various roles, including IT Director, Sunday school teacher, working in Awana, mowing the church lawn and serving on search committees. One of my guiding principles is Proverbs 3: 5-6. As an Elder I am committed to fostering spiritual growth and creating a welcoming environment where everyone can experience God’s love. Outside of church, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing sports with my kids and staying updated on Technology.

Troy has been a member of Grandview since 1979. Troy’s ministry involves the Elder Board, Finance Team, AWANA Pinewood Derby, Pumpkin Party, and helping with many church outreach events. Troy and his wife Priscilla have two daughters, Brielle, and Brooke. Troy’s parents are Gary and Mary Robbins.

Andy Stroud
Andy has been a member of Grandview since 1997. Andy has served with buildings and grounds, Ignite youth ministry, men’s ministry, youth pastor search team, elder board, kindergarten Sunday school, AWANA Pinewood Derby, and lead pastor search team. He is currently teaching the Community Sunday school class. Andy and his wife, Stacia, have three children: Drew, Talia, and Jonathan.
